Two Bay Area non-profits will hold a free seminar Dec. 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on how to access financing for small businesses.

Quick and Easy Small Business Loans Night, offered by San Francisco-based Urban Solutions and San Jose-based Lenders for Community Development, will show entrepreneurs how to apply for loans and offer free consultations. A door prize will be offered, along with free refreshments.

Lenders for Community Development provide loans of $1,000 to $25,000 with competitive, fixed rates and no up front fees. Urban Solutions provides services to small businesses including one-on-one consulting for finance and planning and an ongoing series of free workshops.
